MYLO
Danielle reached out to me about birth photos and placenta encapsulation! Oh course I said yes! She was having her first home birth, but 3rd baby. She was incredibly prepared, with hypnobirthing, a birthing tub and a room full of amazing support people.
So around 11pm she texted me to head that way, she was sure this was labor, and it wasn’t slowing down!
I got there and was greeted by Danielle, her cat, her mom and her grandma! Her friend was sleeping in a room her two other children. She was breathing with contractions so beautifully! After a few hours we had gotten tub filled up and she got in.
Once in the warm, calming water you could barely tell she was even having contractions. With the Hypno birthing cd playing in repeat in the back ground, she was so incredibly calm and peaceful. You would never know she was close to having a baby if you just walked into the room. She called her midwife and asked her to head that way. The midwife got there about 30 minutes later. Once the midwife was all settled in you could tell mom was starting to bear down.
Not long later mom brought her baby up from out the water into her arms! Baby Mylo was perfect and settled right in to snuggle his mom. His siblings got to come out right after to meet him! Danielle delivered the placenta in the tub, then got out to get dried off and start nursing.
Baby Mylo got to be snuggled by his sister, Grandma, and Great grandma right away!
After a few hours of weighting, and nursing I snuck out to drive home as the sun was starting to come up, leaving them snuggled in bed trying to sleep but adoring that sweet little boys face!
