Winter Maternity Session

Can you tell its 12 degrees outside and super windy?! Maybe, but it was still fun to do this session.

This family hired me to be their doula, maternity photos, birth photographer and do their placenta. So at the prenatal meeting we snuck outside for a few quick bump pictures. We also got some “real life” family pictures. These are sometimes referred to as lifestyle, as in real life, not posed, not matching outfits and perfect hair. These are my favorite, because its was less stressful and exactly how you’ll remember your life- messy and full of perfect chaos!

I love doing this type of session, so we get to know each other more. I get to see you and your family’s dynamic. I love the realness, the house was messy, the kids were wearing their favorite costumes and the dog would not cooperate at all. This is how you’ll really remember it,so why not capture those moments! Also you have 3 almost 4 kids, so if you don’t have time to get everyone “together” and make it out of the house, i can come to you and we can get a real life session!
