Susannah knew she wanted a different birth after a military hospital birth with her first son. So she had a homebirths for her other 2 sons, and again with this one!

3am some contractions started. At 9am she text me to let me know she was in labor but they were not really strong or picking up yet. I was coaching soccer so told her to be in touch, and once I got done coaching I went to the store and then headed over to her house. Once I got there we decided to talk and go for a walk through some contractions. About a mile and 45 minutes they were picking up and getting stronger. Her boys were out and about playing, but once we got back inside you could tell they were starting to bother(the boys) her as the contractions were getting stronger. Her husband and boys blew up and started filling up the birth tub. Soon after her husband took the boys over to the neighbors, and she called the midwives to come. Once the tub was full she got in tried to relax as she knew baby would be there soon. The midwives arrived and set up all their things/equipment. Probably 15 mintues later Susannah reached down in the water and delivered her own baby!

Soon after placenta was delivered and she got onto couch as her boys came home from the neighbors to meet their new brother!
